Ok. Perhaps this feature can be updated to return a "Not supported on Get Data" type of error message in the meantime.

@gdbarron, thanks for the tip! Upgrading to PS 7.0.4 allowed the installation to complete. Interestingly enough, on my machine the standard Windows 10 PS 5 was not throwing any errors....
@raksooo What do you recommend as a workaround in the meantime? I can't find a way to disconnect the VPN or close the app when this issue occurs.
