Honestly, at this point, I think the project has sadly been largely abandoned and we're just shouting into a black hole and hoping that someone will see it
That's just saying it can't get the checksums for the OpenVPN client, the server is working and still has a mirror of the installer, though you should manually check it

The grey star is a placeholder when Navidrome can't get an artist photo. You will need to connect your Navidrome to Last.FM or Spotify for the star to actually show...

I've found a workaround which is to extract the album art, then import the audio into Audacity, export it and re add the album art back into the file

This seems to be something that comes and goes. I remember this being an issue back a few months ago and was fixed for a while.
