But especially with helpers such as `git-lfs`, one often does not want to ignore binary files in a git repo (anymore).

There might be another use case. By defining e.g. a "map meter", one can use dimensional analysis to always get the map scales between real world meter and map meter...

I feared as much. But thanks. Maybe I find the muse and motivation to implement this myself. Not sure how extensible Convex.jl is in these regards, though. Also not sure...

How do you want to do this? Some semantic/nested truncation where inner details are left out or just cutting off like jrfonseca/gprof2dot@cbce9969dbfe15fe4ebda4e37d0acaa1dae3b5dc .

I guess a first solution could be to export a `perf.data`. But I would need to take a deeper look at how and what stuff is encoded there.

Do I have to sync anything non-standard? As of right now, the repo ``` [ros-overlay] location = /var/db/repos/ros-overlay sync-type = git sync-uri = https://github.com/gentoo-mirror/ros-overlay.git ``` still complains with the same...

Good catch, thanks! It's weird, though. The gentoo-mirrors version synced (presumably) just half an hour ago. But it still does not seem to contain `ros-noetic/tf2_geometry_msgs`... The `ros-melodic` (#1000) and `ros-kinetic`...

The gentoo-mirror one has the package now as well. Apparantly the `main` branch caused some issues for the sync.

This would be very helpful, indeed. Ideally, I would want to parameterize this. E.g., something like `%% Waypoints !#state/archived !#topic/work %%` would be very useful to my workflow.
