using a cylinder can prevents this from happening as often but still happens often enough to be noticeable
also ive noticed in game many non full blocks like chest and bells have a lot of Z fighting with flywheel and sodium 0.5.0
I tested this with Minecraft and it does work Although in 1.21 versions of MC you have to use a mod that sets a window icon for it to work...
