Then the TCPShield plugin doesn't expose the real IP address at all or not early enough. Maybe check if it's correctly running like if it's even enabled or was disable...
It's likely that this player doesn't own the Mojang account associated with the username. Therefore, the client closes the connection if requested to perform a Minecraft authentication.
This likely means that there is an earlier error on startup. Could you check that?
