OpenCV Error: Assertion failed (isIdentity(expr)) in _InputArray ,matrix_expressions.cpp, line 1843

I encountered the same issue and fixed it by downgrading to version `4.2.0` and building it from source. Both `4.5.4` and `4.6.0` gave me this assertion error message.
