I'm going to de-milestone since we can't reproduce. Perhaps leaving the issue open will help someone else who runs into a similar issue.
I have learned this is because of the massive scale set in the time axis (I'm driving by, its something like 800k (nanoseconds). With a reasonable scale it works ok.
