Start Mechvibes using a shortcut with admin privileges. This may help. I used this method to get Mechvibes to work in Chrome.
Bug still exists as of January 3, 2021. One workaround is to move it slowly.

What is a "modal" window? Checked/unchecked seems to do nothing.
Another question: What's the difference between export and full backup/incremental? To me, it appears what is save is the same. And export is a whole lot faster.
Suggestion: Could you add a confirmation message after a backup or export (others?) I know it shows on the bottom for export, but it only shows for a couple of...
