Had a similar problem on moonlight embedded. In my case a firmware update to my Xbox Wireless Controller seems to have changed the hardware id code from 050000005e040000200b000013050000 to 050000005e040000130b000020050000....
No not the MTU itself, but when streaming at higher bitrates I've noticed less judder when I almost fill the packets up to MTU size. So from 1392 to 1468....
