The pin feature is definitly a handy feature for some cases, but from my experience with a bigger Unity game, beeing able to quickly revert a bunch of unimportant files...

Are you still planning to add some RAW formats? Everyone with a DSLR eventually ends up with tons of CR2 images, and what would be a better way than previewing...

Maybe you could set this drag interaction to shift+left mouse? that way it also would not be necessairy to zoom all the way out before you can use that feature.
