Solution kind of found, for both screen tearing and fps cap. by going into AMD adrenalin software settings, then graphics, then setting "wait for vertical refresh" to "on, unless application...
for me the fps limiter works when I have "wait for vertical refresh" set to "on unless application specifies" in my AMD software, otherwise it doesn't work.
You can add PlayerEX and RelicEX to compatible.
Upon further testing, it seems it only limits the shader clock when "unlock limits" is checked. if any other kind of overclock is applied, the shader clock will behave normally....
Tested the latest version of the base game (1.4.4.9) and found the issue is not present there.
upon retesting Tmodloader, I found that the static noise has decreased in volume, will continue testing.
I tried disabling three different mods on their own, -wing slot extra is not the culprit -calamity music mod is not the culprit -infernum mode is not the culprit I...
I can confirm it still occurs with no mods. would you like the modless log?
