I noticed that sometimes there is the same behavior of lag video and exactly same blurry/stacked subtitles in VLC app. So maybe something related to libvlc ?

Sometimes, it happens a double subtitles: one correct and the one blurry that make slutters. (It is complicated to reproduce same behavior each time). 

For information, i switched weeks ago the setting "favorite media player" in the app from "auto" to "exoplayer", and it seems I don't have the problem anymore. So i suppose...

Just for my curiosity, what kind of video formats are not readable by exoplayer in your case ?

You have to apply chown to your app folder to the user/group 1000. (check in the docker-compose, for the app container, the user ID is 1000). `chown -R 1000:1000 app/`

As far as i remember, I just changed the owner to 1000, and relaunched setup.sh, nothing more.
