taking a deeper look at the kml (above) seems like the coordinates are all the same. which actually means nothing. @minorua - in such case can the plugin ignore it?...
your screenshot looks wrong, are you using a correct CRS?
great addition! like it very much! i suggest to make the not active color a bit more "fade" meaning the grayish color bit more toward the whites.
maybe add a "hide invisible" in config? or on scrap in the scraps panel?
