Add Basic Auth support to Prometheus Brigde

Would it be possible to add "Basic Auth" authentication (https://prometheus.io/docs/guides/basic-auth/) for security reasons?

Just as there are dashboards for the Ibm to Grafana bridge but for OpenTSBD, would it be possible to have pre-configured dashboards for Prometheus ?
