The formula can not be resolved, because player level (PL) is unknown. So working as intended.
Setting it at a fixed level 80 would kill the information, that the spell scales with level, so no! Adapting the level slider for inline formulas should be possible though.

i faintly remember there was some kind of limitation preventing that. maybe it was just hard to display 10+ cascaded tables for a single creature
