Came here to report the same issue, even in latest version, Mac OS version still incorrectly reported as 10.15.7 for anything more recent.
Tracked down this "bug" which unfortunately is within WebKit itself (e.g. what the browser reports) so not a problem with this device-detect library, or something that could be easily worked...
We ran into this problem too, it's with renderToHtml only in dev mode. We got around it by calling app.render in dev mode instead.
