I have this problem too. I imported a model that it recognizes as Version 9 on BrawlCrate (Which I will no longer use following my ban from their server)
I was just looking for a 1.21 port for Alex's mobs as well and I'm just as bewildered as you guys. It unfortunately appears that this mod is dead :(
