Hi, unfortunately, this extension is written specifically for Gnome-Shell, using Gnome-Shell API. It can easily be used on any Linux distribution, but needs Gnome-Shell.

I'd say it's a minor issue, as a test is done automatically at session start. But heh why not, I'll check this.
