Once FF update didn't affected saved workplaces, but the next one cleared them off.
Current way of dealing with this problem is to backup Profile\browser-extension-data\{aba5dba6-dc7b-458d-8587-d8686f815531}\storage.js file. I don't now if path is similar for all installations, but file itself should bigin with '{"workspaces'.
