Mmmhh, events are shown in fact, it seems that you completely removed category based permissions, at the moment only? ... double checked and sorry it's my fault events are well...
Tooltips are now (PC v.8.0.1) truncated when using simple quotes in the title or description, e.g. "session d'examen" is displayed "session d". Don't know if this will solve this issue.
