I have the same problem with 4 light sensors, but also a Motion Sensor (without lx). I had this on V4.2 and now also on V5.0 with the new V1.2.3...
I can't explain why, but this morning my devices are working again and I have even been able to add the light sensors, which I couldn't for weeks using v4.2....

Thanks! That is indeed what I have been using, but especially with new automations and multiple existing transition times, this is not a great method.
