I'm another one who finds these statuses a little tricky to interpret. AIUI Freeze Charging is effectively "Maintain Minimum SOC x%", so if solar is insufficient to meet house load...

I've built something to do this (similar method to the Solcast adaptive damping @gcoan). I keep track of export during the peak hours over the previous 10 non saving session...

The Drayton Wiser integration has a neat schedule editing card: https://github.com/asantaga/wiserHomeAssistantPlatform/wiki/Custom-Cards#schedule-card Could something like that be suitable for amending expected load, but using +/- KWh instead of temperature?
