I'm seeing the same misalignment. New vault, 100% default settings (other than installing/activating the Things theme). Top pane is edit mode, bottom is preview.

This looks to be fixed for me on Obsidian v0.13.12 and 1.6.0 of this theme, in both `Live Preview` and `Source` modes.

I'd like help on this too. Currently, the behavior is different when you click into the form field vs. when you tab in. I'd expect them to behave the same.

Based on your stack trace, it looks like you're using a version of Node that doesn't support async/await. If you're still stuck on this, try upgrading to Node 8+.
