update: tried reinstalling stripy with 2 verisons. 1. stripy1.2.2 by _$ python3 -m pip install stripy_ 2. stripy2.0.2 by _$ conda install -c underworldcode stripy_ Still have the same issue.

The linkage will overwrite the display time in the element, but it will not affect the strata display.
