been waiting for a while for this, hopefully it gets done soon. There's currently no alternative on Linux as of now, except for SCController but it looks like it was...
i can make mine 165. doesnt change performance much, can you enable that?
maybe your monitor is 60hz thats probably why its capped? 
obviously it wouldnt make a difference if i had a video wallpaper. I usually use scenes with moving effects and stuff like water and particles and its nice seeing them...
its really bad at 1440p as well. Very strange that this happens on Linux but not Windows. On Windows 10 it renders perfectly at 1440p at my max refresh rate....

gyro deactivation is important for gyro ratcheting. Important to let you bind it to touching, (not pressing) the touchpad for ps controllers as well.
