E: I wonder if this is related to the game's use of a launcher. The game seems to get fussy when you attempt to launch it through the executable directly....
Just tested, launcher isn't the issue.
Same issue here, developer tools are useless in this hanging state so I can't debug it. Attempts to build and debug locally have been useless too, just get weird errors.
