No error code when file doesn't' exist or isn't a markdown file

I noticed the `mdfile` executable doesn't return any error code if the file passed in parameter doesn't exists or isn't a markdown file.

When using `prettydiff beautify`, it output the beautified file on the terminal output. I wondered if it was possible to tell `prettydiff` to apply the beautification to the source file...
