Could it be that card are only show, when a deck ist shared und signed to a user?
I guess it's a bug, too. It would be great if I could disable a board for "Upcomming cards". I guess this is a feature request.

yes, I want so see the current state/column of a card in Upcomming cards view. you understand me :-D
@stefan-niedermann I'm not sure if it's the same. I would like to have the name of the column and could look like a tag.
It doesn't have to be a tag. I thought tag would be a good idea because it already exists and it is human readable. I would like to see it...
