Would it work to store this value in the `keyval.py` key value storage system? I believe that is backed by a file that persists until the system is rebooted.

There is also a `RESET` command that can be sent to the device if you want to write yourself some code to send the message that has resolved the same...
@jonasmalacofilho could the issue that @planeturban is having now be related to the multiple commands not being sent atomically, or the messages being sent out of order.
Never mind, after testing that mode in icue it does not actually do what I thought it did, it might actually add that ability properly in a future firmware update...
