I had the same problem (apparently only on chromium based browsers, firefox was fine) and fixed it with merging https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/dash.js/pull/3797.
Any update on this? Is there a simple workaround? Contrary to @damien-swarm, I'm looking for "two separate resource methods on the same path, but that consume different mediatypes".
