So from Android>=12 you had to switch to no-secure display because google, but instead of using shell user could you use the root user to achieve that? So it would...

What about freezing apps without root permission but just with adb? Perhaps supporting shizuku would be awesome. Icebox for example already do this

On build 1299+ if you keep logging level below ~info~ debug games freeze at start. On build 1289 can happen as well but it's rarer and happens in game
