ah well thanks @Ricardo-0101 , but my general problem is that i specified my downloads folder to be in /media/ex... and my general volume in my home directory.. so /downloads...

yo I fixed it try installing the `gst-plugins-good` package (if you are on a pacman using distro) or its equivalent contents for your distribution
honestly, I don't think we will get any response from the author.. The last commit was three years ago.. maybe someone will fork it and fix it, although it seems...

seems to be a problem of 6.0 vs 5.10 which matches the date of the change.. ill have a look over the weekend
