This isn't resolved yet. I propose to not install shine in /opt/ohpc and put it in /usr/bin. @crbaird : This package isn't supposed to be relocatable, isn't it?
This is still broken in the 1.3.8 version of OpenHPC where opencoarrays was updated to 2.6.3. This is because the caf script is stupid and is using the wrong substitution...

It was caused by the older Kernel version 3.10.0-1062.1.2.el7.x86_64. With 3.10.0-1160.76.1.el7.x86_64, everything works fine. A better error message would be nice though.
I think this is related to different UIDs for nobody, on Debian/Ubuntu it is 65534, on RHEL7 and derivatives it is 99. It might be useful to have a configurable...
