In regards to the readonly discussion, there may be a chance to fix it with some custom typing in pydantic. I don't think it fixes everything, as I'm not sure...
I believe this MR should be adopted due to it's direct resolution of the issue. I don't think the function to turn a model field into a pydantic field, `get_schema_field`,...
This would be really nice!
