I dont think it is possible to charge a battery over the Powerstream, so not really in the scope of this script.

I have the same Problem, it is not an issue with this script. It is something wrong with the Powerstream Firmware... I tried to get help from EF support but...

This script only controls the Powerstream, so can use it to only insert power into the grid. I think the documentation of OP is very good so just follow along...
