What version are you on? Isn't #74 solves the problem? It has been merged and released in v1.1.1. Do you think the problem still exist in v1.1.1 or above?

+1 Same here. Tried to download a 2.9GB of 10K files, over a slow SFTP connection. was stuck on "preparing" and presumably silently froze. (maybe the connection was broken, but...
