Thank you! Setting the build config to "shipping" worked for me too.
Looks like Mono isn't being included in the build? Looking at readme file my interpretation is that everything should be included for running on Windows, but I might be misreading...
Sorry for the late reply. It does not appear to be project-specific, happens even if I just link one empty ink file to another in a new project.
Not sure why, but you need to add an empty item to the vars array and set its type to anything but "none".
