I believe this issue is still present in the `0.7.1` release of `SimplePyBLE`. Calls to `notify` always segfault. Tested on MacBook Pro mid-2015, macOS 12.7.3.

The Python methods listed in @RyanNorge's comment were missing from version 0.6.1 but are present in version 0.6.2.dev2 (currently the latest pre-release package available via Pip). To install the latest...

I am also very interested in HDR10 output but cross-platform support seems problematic. @janekb04 has provided good information about some approaches that all include (at least) support for Windows 10....

I have re-tested and found that this issue is still present in release 0.8.1. I do not have privileges to re-open the issue but can file a new issue referencing...
