Is there a way to spawn an own thread? I need to retrieve data from a serial device and somehow send midi messages into the run method. I tried spawning...

I just opened deltachat and had around 300 new messages. And i got wayyy to many notifications about new messages. Not sure how we can debounce this in a smart...

Currently the readme isn't very helpful, especially not for mac :) I'm not really a good readme write myself, maybe someone wants to join?

Retrieve old chats over imap on first login

Maybe it's nice to be able to import old chats by downloading them from imap. Related desktop issue: https://github.com/deltachat/deltachat-desktop/issues/494
