I may work on this, sometime, but I wanted to dump the idea somewhere others could see it now, to get comments and maybe inspire someone else to implement it.

I'd like to propose a variation on this, more similar to Slack & Discord's "reaction" feature. It would fundamentally just be a alternate way to display particular (very short) comments....
