Ionic 4 is out of beta :) Seems like a good time to implement this !
Adding `overflow-scroll="false"` doesn't help. On Android 6.0.1 and last version of Ionic zooming doesn't work at all.

I have the same issue. I found it very helpful, but can't have it use so much resources for what it does - I will monitor progress about it though
Will do in the coming days, no problem.
Here is a video capture of this when used in my app: [there you go](https://www.dropbox.com/s/6j4nw5u8e1lciga/focus_and_blur.mp4?dl=0)
I can't reproduce your issue, it works well for me. Maybe you have a weird browser quirk, try it in private mode or in another browser?
+1 Anything new guys ? For information, clicking 2 times set the scroll correctly. Oh, and for me the issue is not here when the table is defined inline.
