Alternatively, only the selected window uses the non-overlay version. The non-selected windows use overlays. Maybe also try and make use of atomic windows

Thought I'd put this here in case someone else comes across it, but I noticed that if you're using evil, `evil-escape-key-sequence` will seriously mess with input for example for me...

emacs 31 comes with childframes in tty out of the box so this might be worth looking into

The workspaces in the echo area (via `+workspaces/display` for instance) are 1-indexed and I believe the intention is that `5 gt` for example, takes me to the 5th workspace rather...
