oh! I so hope this works! If you've got a module now for harmony command functionality... does that mean that potentially it could use be used for other device commands?...
I know this is probably a limitation of the Hub API, rather than the script. It's a shame though, as I've just got my Roomba controllable by the Harmony Hub......

Cheers Kraig. If the Homebridge is respawned on restart from the controller, Does the controller app have to stay open, or is it a separate background process?
So... I never closed this issue, because it still happens from time-to-time, and only a reboot will solve it. Even with "restartStyle": "stopOnly", every time I kill the homebridge process...
not sure an App would gain Apple approval, since homebridge basically negates the apple HomeKit authentication chip requirements, but a provisioned .IPA installable app would be wonderful!
