Same here, my OS SSD swapped from machine to machine, and ever did many network drive mapping, slow to start wsl as well, also the OS has difficulty to show...

Try to use the reset options for "Windows Subsystem for Linux" then restart? I resolved the wsl stuck issue by doing this.
