Possible to use Bolero without Elmish?

Is it possible to run without Elmish? Would anyone have a simple example of how to set this up and get some html output?

Settings drop down box closes quickly before allowing selection

I was trying out the REPL to see it produce other code (rust) but the menu closes before I have a chance to select it. This is manifested in firefox....
