replacing the host for "10.0.2.2" did the trick for me, another detail is that if you are getting a conection refused, despite you having no password just comment the password...

I had this problem, In my case it was solved by changing ` ` to `` inside my main/AndroidManifest.xml file

Controllers don't work in game anymore

Update: Found out that steam overlay needs to work for steam input to work. Overlay wasn't working so I focused on fixing that found out that gamescope messes the overlay...
