Same issue here. Tried with 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. App Installer version: 1.17.11601.0 
Maybe missing style assignment to your ContentDialog. ContentDialog dialog = new ContentDialog(); .... dialog.Style = Application.Current.Resources["DefaultContentDialogStyle"] as Style; .... await dialog.ShowAsync();
