I would only have kept the first sentence for the definition. The second one is just a comment.

Water Body seems appropriate. Other kinds of fluids (oil and gas for example) are not usually encountered in geotechnics and civil eng.

"Test pits/trial pits" should be distinct from "boreholes". They are different exploration hole methods, for different applications.

WaterBody can be either the water that fill the voids in the Hydrogeological unit, or the free water in a Lake, Sea, River, or underground cavity (karst for example).
