@njh There is a pull request now. I have personally tested it on a sonoff mini r2 with 3.7.6 and it worked while the current base version did not work...

Nope this has only been tested once by me on the most recent firmware. There seems to be someone else in #18 who tried it.

I think the optimal solution here would be to detect local dependencies, actually copy them to the archive and rewrite Cargo.toml for the affected crate, but I'm not sure how...
