I think this may be caused by the pytorch version, I did not encounter this bug when using 1.1.0, but got the same bug when using 1.2.0.

Also got the same issue here. No idea what caused it. But I did try installing a previous version of PyTorch(0.2.0.post3), the error was avoided.
